Job Description
We’re looking for an SEO Associate based in Chennai who can strategise, manage, and execute SEO activities with a strong focus on improving rankings and driving visibility across search platforms.
This role goes beyond traditional SEO — you’ll work on SEO, AEO, and GEO, ensuring brands show up not just in search results, but also in answers and AI-driven discovery.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
Build and execute SEO strategies to improve keyword rankings and organic visibility
Identify opportunities to increase search presence across Google and AI platforms
Conduct keyword + intent research focused on traffic, rankings, and conversions
Track competitors and continuously refine strategy
Execution
Execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO activities
Optimize content, metadata, internal linking, and site structure
Improve page performance, crawlability, and indexation
Drive content updates to boost rankings and search visibility
AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
Optimize content to rank for featured snippets and direct answers
Structure content for FAQ-rich and voice-search queries
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
Improve brand visibility in AI-generated responses (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
Build topical authority and entity-driven content strategies
Performance & Reporting
Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and visibility metrics
Use tools like Google Analytics, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush
Share insights and continuously optimize for better performance
What We’re Looking For
Chennai-based candidate (mandatory)
2–3 years of SEO experience (agency preferred)
Proven ability to improve rankings and organic visibility
Strong understanding of search intent, SERPs, and ranking factors
Familiarity with AEO & emerging GEO practices
Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, GSC)
A team player with strong ownership and execution skills
Good to Have
Experience in eCommerce / Shopify SEO
Understanding of technical SEO and structured data
Exposure to content strategy and AI-led search trends
