Job description
Job Title: SEO Executive
Experience: 1 year
Location: Remote/Bengaluru
CTC: 10k to 15k per month
Mode of Engagement: Full-time
No of Positions: 2
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
Industry: Digital Marketing/IT-ITES
Notice Period: Immediate
Responsibilities
• Optimize web pages for search engines, focusing on both on-page and off-page strategies to improve rankings.
• Monitor keyword rankings and take proactive measures to address any drops, including revisiting keyword strategies and content optimization.
• Implement structured data and schema markup on websites to enhance search visibility and improve click-through rates.
• Manage and update sitemaps, ensuring they are correctly configured to facilitate search engine crawling and indexing.
• Conduct regular SEO audits using industry-standard tools, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Write and optimize meta titles and meta descriptions to align with SEO best practices.
• Implement canonical tags and noindex tags where necessary to manage duplicate content and prevent indexing of low-value pages.
• Use Google Search Console to monitor website performance, identify issues, and track the effectiveness of SEO efforts.
• Utilize SEO plugins on WordPress sites to enhance optimization efforts, including managing sitemaps, meta tags, and other on-page elements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in website performance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
• 1+ years of professional experience in SEO.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and WordPress SEO plugins.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
