What we’re looking for:
Knowledge of RHEL / Wintel platform
Installation of Redhat Linux 7/8 operating system
Basic understanding of data centre technologies, such as SAN, LAN/WAN networks, Blades Servers
Basic knowledge of x86 platform
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly over the phone and in meetings / conference calls
Willing to work flexible hours (early morning / late nights) to resolve issues with help from employees in other regions
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve build related issues in the above technologies
Good time management skills
Fluency in English is essential
Qualifications and Experience
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with proven ability to work within a Project-related IT function.
Skills that will help you in the role:
Working knowledge of ITIL
IT Support background
Ideally, the jobholder would have experience of the Financial Services Industry
