Project Scope:
This position supports client's strategic and operational HR objectives by contributing to the implementation and optimization of the Service Now Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) platform. The role is instrumental in enhancing employee experience and HR service efficiency by identifying process gaps and streamlining workflows.
Our HR and IT organizations are transforming how we deliver services collaborate across departments to provide a modern, digital-first experience for employees, with a focus on automation, accessibility, and continuous improvement.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote Service Now HRSD best practices and recommend out-of-the-box solutions where appropriate.
Collaborate with Senior Service
GPI Developers, HR, IT, and plant operations to document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for the HRSD modules.
Analyze and optimize HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, case management, and lifecycle events.
Assist in the development and configuration of Service Now HRSD modules such as:
Case and Knowledge Management
Employee Service Center
Lifecycle Events
Document Management
Support the creation and maintenance of HR workflows, forms, and user interfaces.
Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment of HRSD features.
Help maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.
Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues.
Stay current with Service Now platform updates and HRSD best practices.
Coordinate with HR process owners to assess current workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
Design and implement strategies to enhance HR service delivery across corporate and manufacturing sites.
Communicate and train HR users and plant managers on new processes and tools.
Oversee implementation of updated HRSD processes and adjust as needed.
Manage HRSD enhancement requests, building requirements and user stories.
Facilitate weekly HRSD platform calls and coordinate with developers and Service Now representatives.
Ensure alignment across HRSD work streams and prevent overlap or conflicts.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic understanding of Service Now platform and its architecture.
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and web technologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Practical experience with Service Now, Service Now HRSD module or HR systems.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Service Now Certified System Administrator (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
Understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle.
