Nelson Residential Care Centre, provides aged residential care services for older people from and around Feilding. We pride ourselves on delivering rest home level care in a supportive environment, promoting independence and maintaining connections with family, friends and the community. If you value and respect older people and believe you can support older people to maintain their lifestyle we would love to talk to you.
We are currently seeking a weekend House Keeping Assistant for a minimum of 12 hours per week - this is for a Saturday & Sunday. There is also the opportunity to pick up additional hours covering sick leave and annual leave
To be successful in your application, you will:
· Have a desire to make a positive difference to the lives of older people
Excellent attention to detail
· Be able to work independently and as part of a team
· Be punctual & reliable
Be available at short notice
· Have a good sense of humour
· Previous experience is preferred but not essential as training can be given
