Position Summary:
The incumbent will ensure correct storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly and perform migration of projects between various environments.
Responsibilities:
- Establish proper user accounts and monitor user access and security.
- Refine physical design to meet system storage requirements.
- Conduct capacity planning.
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
- Provide 24x7 production support and be available for escalations.
- Enforce and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
- Communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.
Requirements:
- Minimum Experience: ++ years.
- Expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB on medium to large systems.
- Ability to identify and recommend changes or improvements to the build process.
- Proficiency in performance tuning, backup, recovery, security, disaster recovery, patching, and upgrades.
Preferred Skills:
- Development experience is an added advantage.
