Job Title: Shadow Teacher
Location: Meridian School, Banjara HIlls, Hyderabad
Timings: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Start Date: Immediate
Job Purpose:
To provide individualized support to a child within the classroom environment, helping them interact academically, socially while working closely with the main teacher and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to the assigned child during school hours
Assist the child with academic activities, classroom tasks, and transitions
Support social interaction and communication skills development
Help manage behavioral and emotional challenges effectively
Encourage and guide the child toward greater independence
Provide regular reports on the child's progress and challenges
Communicate updates or concerns to the parents and school coordinator as needed
Collaborate with class teachers and special educators to align support strategies
Ensure the child's safety, inclusion, and well-being during school hours
Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity regarding the child's needs
Requirements:
Female candidates only
Prior experience as working with kindergarten children
Any Experience working with special children (e.g., autism, ADHD) is preferred
Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Ability to maintain observation logs and written reports
Empathetic, patient, and collaborative mindset
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month
