SHOP ASSISTANT NEEDED
Join our team at Truck It Personnel Services , as our thriving client adds to their location, as a Shop Assistant. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Job Summary:
As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our customer by maintaining the stop, supporting daily operations and all the mechanics and apprentices. Your friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond for our customers will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
• Move tools, equipment and other materials
• Hold stakes during surveying activities
• Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public
• Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Prior experience in a mechanic shop
We currently have one morning shift, Monday through Friday 6 am to 3 pm and one afternoon shift, Monday through Thursday, 2 pm through midnight and Friday 2pm to 7pm.
Pay: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
