Shop Helper Details
• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 15.50 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm )
• Read work orders/blueprints and follow instructions
• Set up work area and clean up work area when needed
• Cut, shape, sand, carve, and smooth material to remove imperfections.
• All other work related duties as assigned
Shop Helper Qualifications
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to read/learn to read a tape measure
• Ability to walk and stand 8-10 hours a day, bend, squat, reach, twist, or kneel when required.
• Woodworking and/or carpentry experience a plus
• Experienced with hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools a plus
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed. You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire. We will consider your age at the time of the offense, when the offense occurred, the seriousness and the nature of the offense, as well as any rehabilitation to determine your employability.
