We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Shopify Website Handler & Social Media Content Creator to manage and optimize our online store while also creating engaging and relevant content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in website management, social media content creation, and a deep understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing best practices. They will be responsible for maintaining our website, ensuring that it is always up-to-date, visually appealing, and user-friendly, while also creating consistent, high-quality content for our social media channels to drive customer engagement and increase brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Website Management:
- Manage and maintain our Shopify website, ensuring all pages are up-to-date, responsive, and optimized for SEO.
- Regularly update product listings, including images, descriptions, pricing, and inventory.
- Monitor site performance and troubleshoot any technical issues to ensure optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement and optimise promotions, discounts, and landing pages.
- Analyze website metrics and user behaviour to identify trends and recommend improvements.
-Generating qualified leads online / Sales. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies online.
-Keyword research & keyword optimisation
2. Social Media Content Creation:
- Develop and implement a social media content calendar, ensuring consistency across all platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.).
- Create visually appealing and engaging content, including graphics, photos, videos, and copy, to promote our products and increase brand awareness.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews, engaging with customers and building brand loyalty.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns and promotions.
- Analyse social media performance metrics and adjust the content strategy as needed to maximise engagement and reach.
-Create and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns results
-Co-ordinating with multiple agencies / vendors and getting work done through them
3. Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in e-commerce website management, preferably with Shopify.
- Proven experience in creating and managing social media content for business accounts.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce, SEO, and digital marketing best practices.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) or equivalent design tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
