Pay: £26,000 to £32,000 per year (depending on experience)

About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, organised, and trend-aware Short-Form Video Editor & Social Media Assistant to join our team. You’ll be responsible for editing all of our short-form video content and posting it across our brand pages as well as our founder’s pages, ensuring everything aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our audiences.
This is a hybrid role, with the majority of work done remotely, but you will be required to attend meetings at our Derby office or London Studio to plan, align, and collaborate with the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Post content across our brand pages and our founder’s pages, including writing captions, adding hashtags, and scheduling uploads
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure edits align with campaign goals and brand identity
• Contribute creative ideas for video hooks, trends, and executions
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, editing styles, and platform updates to keep BSSET ahead
• Organise, manage, and upload daily videos efficiently each week
Requirements
✅ Proven experience editing short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
✅ Confident using editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
✅ Deep understanding of social media trends and what makes content perform
✅ Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
✅ Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
✅ Strong written English for captions and posts
✅ Someone who spends a lot of time on social media and understands what content people engage with
✅ Passion for content creation, even if not appearing on camera
Bonus if you have
• Experience growing personal or brand social media pages
• Knowledge of men’s grooming, beauty, or e-commerce brands
• Graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop) for social posts and thumbnails
