Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Site Superintendent with daily site coordination and operations throughout all phases of construction
Support the project lifecycle from site preparation through final completion and turnover
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
Receive, organize, and track tools, materials, and deliveries
Use and maintain basic construction tools and equipment safely
Communicate effectively with trades, suppliers, and site visitors
Identify issues on site and proactively propose solutions to the Superintendent
Assist with quality control, deficiency tracking, and punch-list completion
Complete site documentation, checklists, and daily logs
Support scheduling activities and coordination of trades as directed
Perform general labor and site support tasks as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid driver’s licence required (company vehicle provided)
English language proficiency (spoken and written)
Experience using basic construction tools (hand and power tools)
Understanding of the residential construction project lifecycle and how to support each phase toward successful completion
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think dynamically in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow instructions while also working independently when required
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Physically capable of performing construction site duties
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Experience
2–4 years of experience in residential construction or home building
Familiarity with construction drawings, schedules, and basic building processes
Experience working alongside multiple trades on active job sites
Safety & Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)
Construction safety training (e.g., WHMIS, OSHA, or local equivalent)
First Aid/CPR certification
