We’re looking for a driven Site Engineer to join our Auckland based Heavy Civils & Structures team on some of the region’s most exciting infrastructure projects.

The Work You’ll Be Doing
Our Civil business specialises in reinforced concrete and heavy civil infrastructure. You’ll be part of a team delivering technically challenging, large-scale projects that make a real difference to how people live, travel, and access essential services.
This diverse portfolio, will include work like:
Deep shaft construction for pump stations
Bridge retaining walls and complex structural works
Underpasses and transport structures
Major infrastructure projects such as Papakura to Drury and upcoming Water Infrastructure projects
Tunnelling works and confined-space structures
Wastewater treatment plants and water treatment facilities
Wharves, bridges, storage tanks and pipelines
In addition to the above you will:
Coodrinate and oversee daily site activities to ensure smooth progress of all works.
Organise and develop construction methodologies and work programs to deliver the project on schedule and to specification.
Identify and solve engineering problems quickly and effectively.
Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor services to meet project needs.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the project life-cycle.

We’re looking for someone with:
Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience in heavy civil construction or major infrastructure projects.
Tertiary qualification in civil engineering (BE, NZCE, or Diploma).
Strong ability to plan and develop construction methodologies and work programmes.
Proven subcontractor management and resource optimisation (materials, plant, labour).
A collaborative attitude, solid communication skills, and a genuine interest in building complex civil structures safely and to a high standard.
