Job Summary
A Site Engineer is required to support the QLD team with onsite engineering services and contribute to the delivery of multiple Major projects. This role offers opportunities for career progression and working on exciting projects with a passionate and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Oversee planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities in alignment with project goals and timelines.
Monitor and report the performance of the workforce and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to technical, program, quality, environmental, safety, and commercial standards.
Create, monitor, and control project schedules.
Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and support contract administration activities.
Engage positively and build relationships with the client, on-site crew, and subcontractors.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with experience in ground engineering/civil projects.
Understanding of MRTS specifications.
Understanding of TMR specifications.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
Strong relationship building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Hands-on approach.
Exceptional understanding of OHS legislation, principles, and practice.
Computer literacy, particularly experience working with MS Excel and MS Project applications.
