Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a variety of construction skills. This role involves working on various projects, including hardwood installation, laminate installation, flooring prep, and more. The Skilled Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
Perform hardwood/laminate laying and flooring installation with precision and attention to detail.
Assist in interior finishing work as required by project specifications.
Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
Experience
Proven experience in skilled labor roles within the construction industry is preferred.
Familiarity with flooring installation techniques but also willing to learn on the job.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans is a plus.
Experience with carpentry is a bonus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
