Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance &/or production planning
• Experience with some combination of the following: experience with manufacturing processes and procedures including: fabrication, assembly, machining, and electrical in several disciplines including composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies &/or installations.
• Previous experience with lean manufacturing and process improvements
•Experience with MRP system or SAP or other Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application
•Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years - required to apply
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of LM Palmdale company policies, procedures and systems including SAP and SFM.
• Experience supporting various projects and coordinating activities related to the full life cycle of projects from conception to delivery
• Experience with planning functions including Computer Aided Production Planning (CAPP) and Shop Order Maintenance (SOM)
• Working knowledge of one or more organizations including: Operations, IT, Planning, Production Control, ERP, MRP, Quality or systems integration.
• Must have demonstrated effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to successfully work with other team members including Operations, Production Control, Quality Assurance, IT, Planning and Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plan to limit failures in the future.
• Demonstrated ability to solve logistical issues and lead efforts to drive mission success.
• Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $64,400 - $123,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
