Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking!

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and strengthening Genpact’s presence in the global market. You will be a domain SME for retail banking – across the end-to-end lifecycle for mortgages, cards, personal loans, savings accounts, and checking/current accounts, including originations and servicing. You will provide domain expertise as local sales teams create business opportunities for the Retail Banking proposition with existing and new clients. Your role will support the identification and qualification of opportunities, demonstrate the Retail Banking proposition, and enable the building of a predictable pipeline of business to generate repeatable and profitable revenues in retail mortgages.

Responsibilities
• You will be a key point of contact in the service line for Retail Banking opportunities in either the European, APAC or NAM regions. You will support the development of sales strategies, collateral, and solutions to meet the Retail Banking needs of clients – working closely with Sales & DTAI
• You will support the delivery go-to market plans through managing the relationship with tech partners, salesforce enablement and the execution of targeted campaigns.
• You will work with Lead Solutions Architects and the Sales team to respond to RFIs and RFPs – completing sections on Retail Banking. You will work with cross functional teams to develop a winning strategy, along with Ops/LDT, Digital and DTAI, then present for internal approval and customer acceptance.
• Your role will require close alignment with Operational teams, to identify innovations which can be productised, needs which can be met with new technology and benchmark performance.
• You will need a clear understanding of the regional differences in Retail Banking markets – including regulatory, benchmarking and the competitive landscape.
• You will contribute to Genpact thought leadership for Retail Banking through POVs / White papers, blogs, articles, and regular social media posts. You will represent Genpact at industry events.

Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, graduate degree a plus (MBA preferred)
• Relevant years of Retail Banking experiences in either Product Management, Operations or Customer Experience in a bank (preferred), service or software provider.
• Should be a self-starter and work well in matrixed team
• Proficient at conducting product demos
• Strong executive-level communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Expert usage of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• MBA degree
• Industry level connects across EUR / NAM / APAC Retail Banking markets

Should have end-to-end and deep knowledge of banking processes, functions, and operations. (Domestic & Global)
Should own the responsibility of all the business and functional requirements of the entire scope of the projects.
Should lead the interaction with the Consultants and Customer Project Managers and SA to identify possible solution approaches, convince and finalize them after discussions with them.
Should be able to create the sign-off strategy in case of bottleneck or dependencies. Such dependencies should be highlighted/escalated to the steering committees for faster resolution
Should be able to work closely with the Consultants of the projects to get sign-off on the requirements documents like BRS, SRS, SDD.
Should lead, mentor, develop and manage the work of the internal BA teams. It is expected that based on his previous experience he should be able to resolve their bottleneck
Should be able to work closely with the Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Program Managers by providing the function knowledge and understanding of customers expectations.
Should have client-facing experience and need to work closely with the offshore development team, Senior Management, multiple onsite teams, and stakeholders.
Should be able to work on projects independently and has an ability to understand and solve business problems
Supports Testing, User acceptance testing, implementation, and warranty as part of the standard end to end project life cycle management
Should be able to work closely with the Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Program Managers by providing the function knowledge and understanding of customers expectations. Skills:
Proven experience in running requirements workshops for Requirement gathering and elicitation & Solutions Blueprinting (Fit-Gap Analysis)
As a functional leader should be able to support the team in Bids and Proposals. Should lead the solution of the such proposals
Have rich knowledge of the Banking & Finance domain industry globally and specific to the Asia region
Should have sound business knowledge in the lending and leasing module.
Should have business knowledge in wealth management/Private Banking.
Should have the ability to fir client requirements with product functionality.
Should be familiar with multiple implementation methodologies including Agile.
Preferably worked with banking applications like Avaloq, Flexcube, finacle , T24 and bancs or similar.
Able to manage Requirements, system implementations, upgrades and support of Banking Applications
Effectively manage all the stakeholders (internal and external)
Excellent communication, analytical & problem-solving skills
Should be able to lead large cross-platform teams (including BAs, Developers, Testers & partners)
Knowledge of corporate banking modules.
Knowledge of digital banking platforms. Education -B.Tech/B.E/MCA Experience
