Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered
3+ years of experience in database administration, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Snowflake

Familiarity with security best practices and data governance in Snowflake

Responsibilities
The Snowflake DBA will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and scaling our Snowflake data warehouses, supporting ETL processes, and collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams to streamline data management
Snowflake Platform Administration:
Manage and monitor Snowflake environments, ensuring availability, performance, and scalability of data infrastructure
Execute and monitor ETL jobs, address performance bottlenecks, and tune workloads for optimal efficiency
Database Optimization and Maintenance:
Perform data warehouse and schema design to support business needs
Develop and implement database maintenance plans, backup strategies, and disaster recovery solutions
Security and Compliance:
Implement and manage data security, user access controls, and role-based permissions to ensure compliance with data governance standards
Collaborate with security teams to monitor data access, encryption, and compliance requirements
Performance Tuning:
Optimize queries, manage resource consumption, and tune Snowflake performance parameters to achieve cost efficiency and system stability
Implement partitioning, clustering, and materialized views for better data retrieval performance
Automation and Scripting:
Develop automation scripts using Python, SQL, or other languages to streamline database management tasks and monitoring
Automate and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to improve data processing efficiency
Collaboration:
Work closely with data engineering, data science, and analytics teams to support their data needs and enable advanced data solutions
Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud resources (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our Snowflake data infrastructure is reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. Key Responsibilities
