We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Database Administrator to join our team at CoForge. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake-specific SQL extensions and functionality, as well as proficiency in data warehousing concepts such as star schema and snowflake schema.
The successful candidate will also possess strong programming skills in Python and Java, with experience in ELT/ETL processes and data integration transformation tools. Additionally, they will have a deep understanding of cloud computing and security principles, including role-based access control and data encryption.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Snowflake databases
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for high-performance
• Ensure data security and compliance through robust access controls and encryption
• Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and data warehousing
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in Snowflake database administration
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake-specific SQL extensions and functionality
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts, including star schema and snowflake schema
• Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages
• Experience with ELT/ETL processes and data integration transformation tools
