Job Description
Who we are and what we offer:

Interested in shaping skylines across the globe?

Multiplex is a premier construction company with a simple purpose: to construct a better future. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to help deliver some of the world's most iconic projects, supported by approachable leadership and an inclusive culture that puts our people first.

You will also have access to a range of holistic benefits including:

Bonus schemes, annual remuneration reviews and salary continuance insurance.
Health and Wellbeing programs, including annual voluntary skin and health checks.
Benefits to support parents and families, including 20 weeks paid parental leave regardless of gender, payment of superannuation on unpaid leave, and transition coaching.
Professional career development opportunities and a wealth of learning offerings through the Multiplex Learning Academy.
An industry-leading approach to flexible work to enable better work-life balance.
Who we're looking for:

Our people are united by a common belief: that we can outperform in everything we do.

Multiplex prioritises social procurement as it allows our business to be a vehicle for change. Through social procurement initiatives we look at diversifying our supply chain and providing opportunities in the construction industry with a priority for under-represented groups.

We are looking for a Social Impact Coordinator (Construction) who will help us embed social value across our projects in VIC and SA. This role sits within our Social Procurement and Inclusion function and works closely with internal teams, government partners, subcontractors, community organisations and industry bodies.

This is a highly collaborative role supporting the delivery of our social procurement and inclusive workforce commitments. You will work across a range of focus areas including First Nations engagement, diverse and local procurement, priority jobseeker pathways, women in construction, workforce diversity, and training and upskilling initiatives. You will also support tenders, audits, reporting and project‑based implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Take overall responsibility for government policy reporting including timely and accurate collection and validation of monthly subcontractor reports.
Generate monthly client and internal reports.
Actively engage with key project stakeholders including project managers, commercial teams, subcontractors and suppliers to enhance workforce participation and social procurement opportunities.
Provide training, support and guidance to project teams and subcontractors on social procurement and government policy requirements.
Capture lessons learnt and complete case studies and good new stories.
Support new business with project tendering requirements.
The successful candidate will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines, along with solid data analysis and reporting capability. We want you to be able to build effective relationships and collaborate well across project and corporate teams. An understanding of social procurement and inclusion initiatives is preferred, as is experience in the construction industry.

Nb Candidates must be willing to travel, as this role supports our business and projects across Victoria and South Australia.

A note on diversity:

We're committed to building a workplace where people of all genders, cultures, identities, abilities and life experiences feel they belong. We welcome applications from people of all genders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally diverse communities, LGBTQIA+ communities, people with disability, and veterans.

You don't need to meet every requirement to be considered so if this role sparks your interest and you want to help build a better future, we'd like to hear from you. We're committed to a barrier‑free recruitment experience. If you need any adjustments, simply let our Talent Acquisition team know.
