Job Description
Reporting to our Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, editing and delivering this content to our online community of over 83K across our numerous social media channels. This also includes writing engaging captions, managing enquiries and staying on top of relevant trends and strategies to grow our accounts and keep our audiences engaged. You’ll also collaborate with our in-house Graphic Designer to create engaging campaign visuals, based on our Marketing calendar. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content creation: Plan, produce and edit engaging static and video content for our social media platforms, featuring our food, venues and events, to enhance brand visibility while maintaining alignment with our brands and marketing goals.
Schedule Content: Develop and implement a content plan to schedule content ahead of time to maximize engagement and reach.
Engagement Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to enhance audience engagement across all social media platforms, to grow our six separate social media accounts.
Customer Engagement: Respond to comments and messages promptly, as well as encourage user-generated content and reviews.
Campaign Activation: Assist with activating and managing marketing campaigns across social media, ensuring cohesive and impactful execution with our in-venue experience.
Analytics and Insights: Analyse social media insights and algorithms to understand what drives engagement and how to optimise content for better performance. Stay well-versed in the latest social media trends and algorithm changes. Prepare regular reports on campaign effectiveness.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
2–4 years experience in a similar social media role, preferably in the hospitality industry
Extensive experience in content creation across all social media platforms, in particular Instagram and TikTok
Understanding of social media algorithms and insights and how to effectively apply current trends
Are comfortable capturing impromptu content across our venues
Able to take initiative and work autonomously, while also taking direction and asking for guidance when needed
Have a keen eye for design
Strong organisational and time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and creativity
