Job description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Fashion Designer to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about Indian fashion, has a strong foundation in design principles, and is ready to bring their creativity and smarts to a collaborative startup environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in designing collections from concept to final product - Create hand sketches and/or digital illustrations (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop) - Work on CAD drawings and tech packs using AutoCAD or similar tools - Conduct in-depth trend and market research - Support in developing mood boards, color palettes, and fabric stories - Understand and work with Indian fabrics, surface techniques, and regional embroideries - Coordinate with sampling units and artisans for prototyping - Contribute ideas and feedback across design and production processes - Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and emerging design techniques - Be proactive and hands-on in a dynamic, startup-style work culture Requirements: - A degree/diploma in Fashion Design - Strong sketching and visualization skills - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop - Understanding of garment construction, pattern making (basic), and fabrics - Familiarity with Indian textiles, embroidery techniques, and regional styles - Good research and presentation skills - Positive attitude, team spirit, and strong communication - A self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn and grow Bonus if you: - Have worked with an Indian wear brand - Enjoy experimenting with design while honoring tradition - Are organized and detail-oriented

What You'll Learn & Do:
As our Social Media Manager Intern, you will be deeply involved in every aspect of our digital media strategy and execution for the India Designer Show. You will gain invaluable experience in:
• Content Creation: Assisting in the creation of engaging visual (graphics, short videos) and written content for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.).
• Community Management: Monitoring and actively engaging with our online community, responding to comments and messages, fostering conversations, and building brand loyalty.
• Platform Management: Managing and scheduling posts across all our social media channels using scheduling tools.
• Trend Monitoring: Staying updated with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
• Analytics & Reporting: Assisting in tracking social media performance metrics, generating reports, and providing insights to optimize strategies.
• Campaign Support: Supporting the planning and execution of social media marketing campaigns, contests, and promotions.
• Digital Asset Management: Organizing and maintaining digital assets (photos, videos, graphics) for easy access and use.
• Website & Blog Support: Assisting with content updates and optimization for the India Designer Show website and blog, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
• Email Marketing Support: Lending a hand in crafting and scheduling email newsletters to our subscriber base.
• Basic SEO Understanding: Gaining exposure to basic SEO principles as they apply to content creation and online visibility.
Who We're Looking For:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field.
• A strong understanding and active presence across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.) is a must.
• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout Social).
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) for creating social media visuals. Video editing skills for short-form content are a huge plus!
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
• Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced event environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
