About the Role
As a Social Marketing Intern [Latino Department], you will play a crucial role in managing and growing our presence on Spanish-language social media platforms, creating culturally relevant content, and executing digital engagement strategies. You will work closely with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility, increase audience engagement, and support promotional campaigns targeted at the Spanish-speaking audience.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Engagement:
Develop and execute social media strategies tailored for the Latino market.
Manage and grow engagement on Spanish-language social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Monitor trends and best practices in Spanish social media marketing to enhance engagement.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries to foster community growth and interaction.
Content Creation & Localization:
Create high-quality, engaging, and culturally relevant content in Spanish and English.
Adapt marketing materials, blog posts, and social media copy to resonate with the Spanish-speaking audience.
Collaborate with the design team to produce visual content for social media campaigns.
Campaign Management & Digital Outreach:
Support the execution of social media advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram Ads).
Assist in promoting Life Journey’s study abroad programs, events, and success stories through social channels.
Identify partnership and influencer collaboration opportunities to expand reach in Spanish-speaking regions.
Analytics & Performance Tracking:
Monitor social media metrics and analyze engagement data to optimize content and campaigns.
Generate performance reports and suggest improvements based on audience insights.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine social marketing strategies.
Requirements
Fluent in Spanish (Native or Business Level)
Proficient in English (Business Level)
Minimum 2 years of experience in social media marketing, digital content creation, or community management.
Proven experience managing Spanish-language social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Strong understanding of Spanish-speaking audience preferences and online behaviors.
Experience using social media analytics tools to track performance and engagement.
Ability to create compelling and engaging written and visual content for social media.
Passion for international education and digital marketing.
Preferred but not required:
Experience with paid advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Familiarity with video content creation and editing tools for social media.
Background in public relations, influencer marketing, or community engagement.
