We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Optimization (SMO) Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in managing and enhancing brand presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing social media strategies aimed at increasing brand visibility, engaging audiences, and driving traffic to company websites or marketing campaigns.
This role demands a deep understanding of social media trends, analytics tools, content planning, and the fundamentals of performance marketing. You will collaborate closely with the content, design, and digital marketing teams to ensure social media activities align with broader marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Social Media Strategy Development: Plan and execute effective social media strategies tailored to different platforms.
• Content Management: Oversee content calendars, ensure timely posting, and maintain content quality and consistency.
• Community Engagement: Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, influencers, and online communities to build strong relationships.
• Campaign Execution & Optimization: Launch and manage paid and organic campaigns; analyze results to improve performance.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track KPIs, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to enhance social media efforts.
• Trend Monitoring & Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to refine strategies.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to align social media activities with ongoing marketing initiatives.
• Brand Consistency & Compliance: Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and compliance standards.
Skills & Competencies
• Proficient in social media advertising platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
• Knowledge of A/B testing, retargeting, and audience segmentation
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices
• Experience with tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Canva, Meta Business Suite, etc.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas and campaigns
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; a team-oriented approach
