Job Title: Social Worker
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Social Worker to join our South Community Mental Health Team at Hillmorton Hospital Campus.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality care and services to our clients and their families/whanau.
Responsibilities:
Assess and develop recovery plans for individuals with mental health needs
Provide support and guidance to clients and their families/whanau
Work in collaboration with other professionals to ensure holistic care
Develop effective rapport with people who may be mentally unwell or distressed
Hold a caseload of clients and proactively engage with them to support their treatment and well-being
Requirements:
Current NZ Registration and APC in your profession
Full NZ Drivers Licence
Experience working within Adult Specialist Mental Health Services (desirable)
Ability to apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to your practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
