DESCRIPTION

The AWS Event Technology Team (ETT) is at the forefront of delivering exceptional event experiences for our customers. We design, build, and support a cutting-edge platform that empowers marketers to create and manage thousands of virtual and in-person events annually, from large-scale conferences like re:Invent to smaller events.

Join our Event Technology Mobile App team as a Software Development Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of event technology. You will spearhead the development and enhancement of our world-class personalization and AWS Events Mobile App, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for attendees worldwide. Collaborate closely with AWS global marketing stakeholders, providing innovative tools, governance, and operational support to drive AWS growth and elevate attendee experiences to new heights.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for experienced technical experts to help deliver industry leading next generation mobile app services architected for the cloud. You will be part of the team that architects, designs, and implements highly scalable distributed systems that provide availability, reliability and performance guarantees. This is a hands-on position where you will be asked to do everything from building rock-solid components to mentoring other engineers. You need to not only be a top software developer with a good track record of delivering, but also excel in communication, leadership and customer focus. This is a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing business and help shape the technology, product, and business. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience programming with at least one of these programming languages - Typescript, Java, Node.JS
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
