So, what’s the role all about?

We are seeking a technically excellent and highly motivated Senior Software Developer to join our development team. This role focuses on product development within Public Safety & Justice market.

You will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the product deliverables including development, unit testing, documentation, and peer review using C#.NET technology stack.

How will you make an impact?

Owning the architecture, and carrying out design, implementation, and developer-level testing of UI, server, and interface components, using C#, in on-premises, multi-threaded, multi-server environments.
Ensuring the architecture considers the concerns of security, scalability, compatibility, and maintainability.
Performing testing of your work, fixing defects, and helping to resolve customer support cases.
Adhering to the architectural direction and standards.
Liaising with Product Management during planning sessions.
Leading technical decisions but avoiding dictating the architectural direction, in favour of a collaborative, team-based approach

Have you got what it takes?

Must have

2-4 years of experience developing applications in C# using Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent
An excellent problem solver with an active interest in the latest design and development tools and technologies.
Quick learner who loves to take complete ownership and accountability of deliverables along with suggesting and owing improvement items
Experience working in collaborative multidisciplinary teams.
Experience creating maintainable code and using source control solutions such as DevOps, GIT or similar.
Experience of unit testing, code reviews, and other product quality disciplines.
Solid understanding of the principles of network security, authentication, and authorization.
Experience of working with databases using Entity Framework or similar.
Good knowledge of SOLID principles.
Experience creating RESTful APIs and ensuring API extensibility.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

Experience in developing Windows applications using .NET technology stack
Security best practice (OWASP top ten)
MS SQL Server
DevOps, TeamCity
Windows services
WCF
Experience with C++ will be added advantage
