What You Will Do
In one of these two intermediate-level, 12-month fixed-term Software Engineering roles in our Business Systems team, you'll dive into an exciting mix of cutting-edge technologies, with a current primary focus on Angular, Java, and MySQL, supporting existing frontend web applications.
We value collaboration and innovation, embracing Agile methodologies to ensure top-notch development practices. We take pride in our modern and widely admired web applications that play a critical role in our global business. You'll be at the forefront of adding high-value features, ensuring quality, and expanding our audience reach.
This will see you:
Create customer-centric solutions, working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical brilliance
Write clear, efficient, and modular code, making use of widely used libraries and techniques
Design, develop, and implement innovative programs that cater to customer needs
Contribute to collective decision-making on sprint priorities
Showcase your work and promote understanding within the team.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Bachelor's degree or related qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree
Minimum 2 years of experience in web application development
Comfortable reading, altering, and designing solutions in some of the following - Java, AngularJS, React, Vue, MySQL
Good communication skills, a desire to learn, and being an excellent team player
Previous experience working in an Agile environment and contributing to your team to deliver projects.
