Job summary:
As a Software Engineer II in the Credit team of the Corporate & Investment Banking business at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities:
Develop core framework, components and UI for Credit post trade management and reference data systems with a strong focus on resiliency and supportability.
Work across entire software development lifecycle - requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment.
Design and build scalable and resilient microservices
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams across application development and production management.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages; preferably Java and/or Python.
Excellent knowledge of algorithms, data structures, application design and testing.
Good grasp of object-oriented design and programming principles.
Agile software development experience.
Creative, quick-thinking, pragmatic, with a strong focus on delivery.
Proven organizational skills; decisive priority management; excellent verbal & written communication.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Exposure to micro services architecture
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies - reactJS
Exposure to cloud technologies
