SMB engineering team is responsible for developing software to empower all small and medium businesses to succeed by building scalable platforms, seamless products and comprehensive solutions. In the next few years, while SMB revenue will be the significant portion of total ads business, as an engineering team, we also dedicate ourselves to solving challenging but interesting problems in a more scalable and innovative way through advanced software architecture, engineering practice and cutting-edge algorithms. At the same time, we closely work with strategies, data scientists, product managers, operations and sales teams. Diversity in skills, culture and background is our source of power.
We are looking for engineers who are passionate about innovating, creating and evolving scalable and reliable software, architecture and technical solutions to systematically and aggressively enable our SMB customers' success and grow our company's revenue.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement SMB product or platform features.
• Understand and can work on SMB architecture, technical stack and strictly follow engineering practices in the team.
• Deliver with timeline. Manage owned feature priorities, deadlines, deliverables, and quality. Responsible for the maintenance of delivered features and systems.
• Take general solutions and implement them independently.
• Develop, deploy, optimize, troubleshoot and operate large distributed systems
• Collaborate Crossfunctionally and globally.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering. Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency and experience with designing, implementing and operating large scale distributed systems
• Very strong teamwork skills (e.g. communication, ownership, empathy, honesty).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Have relevant experience in advertising, e-commerce and video industries.
• Have experience in recommendation engines, machine learning, data analysis, domain-driven design and complex infrastructure.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136800 - $205000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
