Software Engineering Advisor
Position Overview:
You will collaborate closely with software engineers, quality assurance analysts, and other stakeholders to identify data requirements, develop test data and automation strategies for data and automation provisioning processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test data management concepts, proficiency in working with mainframe systems, knowledge of mainframe data structures, as well as Java and Spring Boot development with experience building enterprise backends applications. A strong expertise with DevOps and Continuous Integration (CI) using Jenkins, ArgoCD and GitHub, RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling, working with data sets, ideally using NoSQL technologies like MongoDB, and knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and technologies, software testing methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Java and Spring Boot development with experience building enterprise backends applications.
• Strong expertise with DevOps and Continuous Integration (CI) using Jenkins, ArgoCD and GitHub. As well as with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Be highly proficient at working with data sets, ideally using NoSQL technologies like MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and technologies such as OpenShift, and AWS as well as experience with building test automation services.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• 5+ Years of Java and Spring Boot development experience building enterprise backends applications.
• Strong expertise with DevOps and Continuous Integration (CI) using Jenkins, ArgoCD and GitHub.
• Strong expertise with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Highly proficient at working with data sets, ideally using NoSQL technologies like MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and technologies (OpenShift, AWS)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Experience:
• Knowledge of Agile management tools like Jira and collaboration workspace like Confluence.
• Strong experience working with microservices architecture.
• Self-motivated with the ability to be effective with minimal supervision.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to openly discuss solution proposals.
• Given the evolving nature of technology and data management practices, a willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and best practices is important.
• The candidate should be adaptable to changes in project requirements and industry trends.
