Leveraging technologies like React with Redux, Node.js, MongoDB, AWS, AI technologies, such as computer vision, and large language models (LLMs), we are building smart, user-centric REGTECH solutions.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Tech Lead who will guide the building and rearchitecting our SaaS platform into a scalable, modular, and AI-integrated system. This role requires a strong foundation in full-stack development, product engineering, and team leadership—with experience in automation, testing, and long-term tech planning. You will collaborate directly with the Founders to bring the business vision to life, leading a team of software developers and AI engineers. You will be at the forefront of building architecture for modular and scalable solutions.

Candidates must be in Mumbai or open to relocating to Mumbai.

Responsibilities:

A. Product Engineering & Architecture
• Lead the re-architecture of the existing SaaS platform for scalability, performance, and multi-tenant deployment
• Drive modularity, microservices, and API-first architecture
• Design and execute POCs for AI/ML model integration in workflow automation or decision intelligence

B. Automation & Testing
• Implement unit testing, automation testing, and regression testing frameworks as part of the CI/CD pipeline
• Establish and enforce high code quality standards and testing coverage benchmarks

C. Technical Strategy & Planning
• Build a 3-year technology roadmap aligned with the company’s business growth plan and international expansion goals
• Evaluate and integrate modern tools, platforms, and frameworks to maintain tech edge
• Collaborate with the founding team to ensure tech vision matches market dynamics and user experience expectations

D. Team Leadership & Recruitment
• Hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent
• Create a high-performance, ownership-driven tech culture
• Oversee agile project management practices: sprints, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospective processes

E. Client & Project Management
• Translate client requirements into technical sprints and manage timely, high-quality deliveries
• Interface with Product, Design, and Business teams to ensure feature alignment with user needs

Qualifications we’re looking for
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SaaS product development
• Knowledge and experience in building technology roadmaps for 3-5 years
• Prior experience in scale-up environment preferred
• Proven expertise in backend (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.) and frontend (React, Angular, etc.) frameworks
• Experience leading cloud-native development on AWS
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and test automation
• Exposure to AI/ML workflows and model deployment
