Virtual Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd. the exclusive development center for VEST, Inc. USA seeks talented Software Quality Engineer who will be a critical part of VEST Product Development Team to ensure customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to analyze requirements, create test plans and perform testing, all to improve software quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Work as part of cross-functional, agile project team to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.
Understand requirements and create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases with the help of cross functional development team.
Ensure software products delivered to the customers meet the specified Quality Goals.
Perform and document functional verification testing and perform exploratory manual testing during the complete software development and maintenance cycles.
Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities
Ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system.
Work closely with Software Engineers and Product Owners to resolve issues.
Work with development teams to understand software design and functionality as deemed necessary.
Help troubleshoot and replicate issues.
Identify ideas for system enhancement, or process improvements.
Requirements
5 to 8 Years of experience with software product quality assurance; including, but not limited to manual testing, regression testing, documenting steps to reproduce, submitting bugs, and documenting issues.
Experience or familiarity with automated software testing tools.
Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills, steadfast focus on quality.
Quick to notice improvements or defects often missed by others.
Professional experience in Testing of engineering design software solutions, like SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD etc. is preferred.
Fluent in English, strong verbal and written communication.
Pragmatic, comfortable asking questions and challenging the status quo.
Highly energetic and Go-getter.
A team player who can also work independently.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Computer science
