About the role
The Solutions Architect is a senior, hands-on technology leader within the Product Delivery Group (PDG), responsible for driving the modernisation and evolution of Quartex’s multi-product portfolio.
This role plays a critical part in consolidating overlapping product capabilities, modernising legacy systems, and defining a clear, aligned target architecture across the organisation.
Working closely with the Head of Architecture, the broader architecture team (including two other architects), Head of Engineering, Product Managers, and Design, the Solutions Architect ensures that architectural decisions are practical, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes. The role combines strategic thinking with deep technical execution, with a strong focus on accelerating delivery through modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development.
As our newest Solutions Architect, you’ll:
Assess the current state of systems across a diverse product portfolio and define a clear, actionable target architecture
Lead the development and alignment of a modernisation and product consolidation roadmap
Establish and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and architecture decisions
Drive alignment across engineering, product, and design stakeholders on architecture direction
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate delivery and improve engineering productivity
Contribute to SOC2 Type II compliance through secure and well-governed architectural practices
Support engineering teams in adopting modern development practices, tooling, and architectural approaches
