IT Audit and Compliance Professional
\Helpers for this role may include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting in performing SOX ITGC testing across in-scope applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborating with control owners to gather evidence and evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of controls.
• SUPPORTING documentation and remediation activities for control deficiencies and exceptions.
• Coordinating with external auditors and internal teams during audit walkthroughs and testing cycles.
• Maintaining updated records of controls, testing results, and audit responses.
• Participating in the development of IT compliance and control documentation (narratives, RCMs, flowcharts).
• Staying current with SOX requirements, IT compliance best practices, and regulatory updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
• Understanding of IT general controls and SOX compliance concepts (training/certification in audit or compliance is a plus).
• Knowledge of basic IT infrastructure components (e.g., operating systems, databases, networks).
• Good documentation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Conversant in Excel and MS Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Internship or prior experience in IT audit, IT compliance, or internal controls is a plus.
• Familiarity with IT frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, or NIST.
• Basic understanding of tools like ServiceNow, GRC platforms, or audit tools.
