This opportunity is for a General Education Teacher with Spanish language skills to work with students from kindergarten through 8th grade. The position is located in Hillside, IL, and is set as a contract role starting ASAP through June 5th. This full-time role involves a 37.5-hour workweek spread over five days, delivering a vibrant educational experience to K-8 students.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that integrate Spanish language instruction within the general education curriculum, assessing student progress, and fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school-wide activities to enhance student learning is also expected.
Qualifications:
• Valid teaching certification
• Experience teaching general education to K-8 students
• Proficiency in Spanish, with the ability to teach and engage students effectively
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs
