SpEd@home aspires to provide remedial and occupational therapy support to children with differential needs, across the globe. Established in Sept 2020, the company aims to build an ecosystem for children with differential needs to improve their physical, cognitive, developmental and educational outcomes.
SpEdathome is a learning management system (LMS), that has been curated specifically to meet the requirements of children ages 6-13, having differential needs viz those with Learning Disability, ADD/HD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. It has been designed to help children achieve foundational literacy and numeracy.

Roles and Responsibility:
• Educational Assessment: Assess students’ numerical and literacy strengths and weaknesses
• Create IEP: Collaborate with the parents, occupational therapist to curate IEP.
• Online Sessions: Conduct online sessions for children with learning disability, ADD/HD and high performing children on the spectrum.
• Adapt learning materials to students’ needs
• Monitor Progress: Keep track of students’ progress
• Observe Behaviour: Observe children’s behavioural patterns and coordinate appropriate interventions
• Content: Develop engaging content and activities to teach skills identified in IEP.
• Parent Meetings: Inform parents about their children’s performance and potential issues.
• Team Player: Coordinate and work across all SME team to ensure child success.
Requirements:
• At least 3+ yrs of experience.
• Prior corporate experience can be beneficial
• Good knowledge of current special education topics and methodologies
• Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities
• Ability to create IEPs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• BEd or MEd in Special Education (An RCI registration can be an additional benefit)
• Tech Savvy and can adapt easily to evolving technologies
• Proficiency in English Language
• Proficient with MS Office.
