Education: Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
Experience: Prior 1 year experience in special education, teaching, or working with individuals with disabilities is often preferred. Teaching in NGO will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:
● Assess learning levels, strengths, and challenges to identify specific educational needs.
● Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with monthly updates.
● Plan and conduct individual or small-group sessions, including support for NIOS and homeschooling learners.
● Focus on building foundational skills like attention, memory, and learning readiness.
● Adapt instructional methods and materials based on each child’s learning style.
● Track academic and behavioral progress regularly; maintain documentation and share updates with the supervisor.
● Support integration in classroom and extracurricular activities as per ability and interest.
Required Skill Set:
● Knowledge of special education strategies and inclusive teaching practices
● Experience in IEP development and implementation
● Ability to conduct learning assessments and modify plans accordingly
● Understanding of NIOS curriculum and homeschooling support
● Patience, empathy, and ability to engage children with diverse needs
● Strong documentation and reporting skills
● Familiarity with basic computer tools (Word, Excel, email)
