We're Hiring:
Special Education Teacher
Location:
DAV School, Gopala Puram, Chennai
RCI Certification – Mandatory
Must be fluent in Tamil, English, and Hindi
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide academic, behavioural, and emotional support to students with special needs
Collaborate with class teachers, parents, and school leadership
Maintain documentation, progress records, and RCI-compliant practices
Conduct remedial sessions and support inclusive classroom strategies
Requirements
Mandatory:
RCI Certification (Special Education)
Fluency in Tamil, English, and Hindi
Experience working with children with learning disabilities or special needs (preferred)
Strong communication, empathy, and classroom management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment
