Health Basix is looking for a special educator with one to two years of work experience in a school or inclusive setting. Medical benefits in our participating hospitals will be given to counsellors and their family members.
Qualification: The special educator must have a diploma / B.Ed/ Masters in Special Education course(s)
Job Description:
Special Educator must
1. Identify the learning and adaptive functioning issues the students face during school hours.
2. Conduct a formal or informal assessment to understand the academic and behavioural functioning of the students during school hours.
3. Plan and develop IEPs with parents and concerned subject teachers for students.
4. Work with students based on the IEP developed by you.
5. Refer students for formal assessments outside the school in case of requirement.
6. Conduct workshops, on request by the school, on topics related to inclusion and education for students with special needs.
7. Have parent meetings to discuss the progress and current functioning of the students.
8. Discuss the student's progress with the concerned class and subject teachers.
Salary Offered: Rs. 20000 per month
