EMIT Learning is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to work on our school campus in Burbank, CA, for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.

Job Description for Special Education Teacher (RSP & SDC)

No. of positions: 3
SET needed in Burbank, CA
Age Group: Elementary
Start: August 2025
End date: June 2026 (Possible extension)
Total hours: 35 - 40 hours per week (will include 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Required License/Certification: Sp. Ed. Certification (Mild/Mod)
Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Create engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and parents to support student development and address any challenges.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
