ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join a supportive school district in Sacramento, CA. This full-time position involves working with high school students (grades +-11) with mild to moderate disabilities. Position Details:
Location: Sacramento, CA
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Grade Levels: +th-11th
Caseload: 1+-22 students
Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard school hours
Start/End Date: ASAP June 6, 2026
Pay Range: $35 - $40 per hour
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
Provide personalized instruction and accommodations
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure student success
Maintain accurate documentation of progress and compliance reports
Support students in academic, behavioral, and social development
Qualifications:
Active California Special Education Teaching Credential (Mild/Moderate)
Experience working with high school students (grades +-11)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
