Special Educator

Education Qualifications:
B.Ed in Special Education or Diploma in Special Education
M.Ed in Special Education (preferable)

RCI Registration (preferable)

Job Description:

The Special Educator will coordinate and provide developmentally appropriate educational services to students whose abilities differ from their peers. Some of the responsibilities and duties are as follows:

· Directs, monitors and mentors students with special needs

· Performs a variety of assessments and observations to determine areas in which student might require extra or modified educational support and services

· Develops Individualized education programs (IEPs) for each students, set learning goals and adopting modifications as necessary

· Implements IEPs, provides ongoing or follow up assessments and continually tracks progress and makes necessary modifications

· Collaborates with class teachers, subject teachers, school counselors and parents

· Create a safe and productive classroom environment for the student

· Develops, completes and maintains paperwork mandated by the regulatory bodies

· Prepare and help students transition from grade to grade

· Celebrates the achievements and successes of the students

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
