About the Role - Special Needs Teacher
We are seeking a caring and proactive Special Needs Teacher to join one of our partner schools in California, USA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Help students with classroom tasks, organization, and behavior management.
• Support the development of students' social and communication skills.
• Assist with the preparation and use of learning materials and resources.
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited 4-year university (Master's Degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of school teaching experience in a special needs classroom or with students requiring special education support.
• Credential Evaluation report for USA (Preferred).
Skills Required:
• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication skills, both with students and staff.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.
This role requires a deep understanding of special education principles and practices.
