Land Use Victoria

Land Use Victoria serves as the Victorian Government's lead agency on land information, policy, assessment, and advice. This enables the government to utilize its land more strategically and maximize public value. Additionally, LUV oversees the management of the government's program for land administration and property information by providing innovative solutions for authoritative, comprehensive, and easily accessible services in land registration, property information, valuation, land surveying, geographic naming, land data management services, and spatial mapping services.

LUV performs a range of statutory and non-statutory functions. It also provides surveying services for major government infrastructure projects, conducts all government property valuations, and is responsible for all council valuations.

About the Role
">
The primary purpose of this position is to provide subject matter expertise to the Compliance Team. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining compliance procedures, undertaking training within the team, engaging with external stakeholders through customer forums and industry presentations, and contributing to Land Use Victoria project initiatives.

Key Skills
">
This role requires experience in electronic conveyancing, audit and compliance programs, and innovation and continuous improvement. A sound working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Transfer of Land Act 1+58 and associated Acts, is highly desirable. Experience sourcing and implementing technology solutions such as robotic process automation, large language learning models, and machine learning is also desirable.
