You will be part of Firm Controllership team in Gurugram, specifically working as part of the Risk and Control team. Firm Controllership is responsible for maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP, developing and maintaining the finance policies, managing financial risk for the firm, accounting and integration of firm acquisitions, adhering to external and internal reporting requirements and spearheading various transformation projects with broader finance function. The group also provides support to accounting managers, firm operations and firm leadership and works collaboratively with many different teams (Treasury, Pricing, M&A, Legal, Risk & Insurance, Real Estate, Tax, etc.) around the firm.You will be a part of second line of defense within Firm Controllership Group, with key responsibilities primarily to perform control testing (ToD & ToE), support tracking & implementation of remediation measures and initiatives around strengthening of financial risk and control framework along with other risk & controls projects/initiatives from time-to-time.You will collaborate & coordinate with internal audit function to ensure timely follow up & remediation of findings and implementation of control improvements. You will perform Control Test of Design (TOD) and Control Test of effectiveness (ToE) along with periodic process/control reviews to ensure gaps are timely identified and managed.You will assist in periodical refreshment of existing risk and controls framework and drive efficiencies & improvement in existing processes, check adherence with applicable firm standards.You should be able to perform control self-assessment exercise and consolidate the responses for meaningful data insights. Periodical reporting and dashboarding to leadership.You will assist in SAP ERP implementation & hyper-care (with a risk & control lens through access management and establishing controls).You should be able to work efficiently with all levels of stakeholders and handle confidential information discretely and authoritatively.Additionally, you will maintain the close interactions with other departments with significant financial inputs and assist the controller with special projects and ad-hoc analysis.
• Qualified accountant or auditor with one or more degrees like, CPA / CA / MBA (Finance), CIA or CISA is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in 2nd line of defense or Internal audit or Statutory audits or Enterprise risk management, in a reputed corporate or Big 4 audit consulting firm
• Prior experience in managing/working alongside teams like internal auditors, compliance teams etc.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, ITGC and SAP environment would be an added advantage
• Computer literacy including strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Should be a team player and have willingness to learn
