Full job description
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern for this post is: Five out of seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
As a Podiatrist within the North East Rehabilitation Service you will have a Degree/Diploma in Podiatry and be registered with the HCPC.
The post requires you to be responsible for delivering a service to patients/clients living at home within the North East Sector area of Glasgow HSCP. This will include inter-disciplinary and professional patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge from care. You will have notable experience with Neurology and/or Care of the Elderly, in an Acute and/or community setting.
You may be involved in the supervision of support workers and students.
A car driver is essential. This post is 5/7 and includes covering public holidays and weekends.
