Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing Operations, the SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing capability maturity and operational excellence in one or more areas across SEO and other channels of Digital Marketing. It’s a great opportunity for someone to get exposure to various aspects of marketing and eCommerce business. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
As a digital content creator, you will be primarily responsible for optimizing the web content of the product pages, working in close relationship with our eBusiness organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand customer needs, match it with the data gaps and optimize the pages accordingly to enhance customers’ online experience.
Excellent written and spoken English is a non-negotiable requirement for this role. If you are a SEO Strategist with Developer skills who wants to grow his/her profile to thought leader in 360 degree digital content strategy and execution, then this may be the right role for you.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and content strategies to continually improve web traffic, product visibility, product searchability, conversion, and overall revenue. He/She will be collaborating with multiple teams to automate the SEO projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Python programming for SEO uses (Pandas, BeautifulSoup, Requests and more modules)
• Linux/Ubuntu server admin and set up
• Task automation using Cron and python
• Technical SEO analysis
• Develop and implement a well-designed SEO strategy
• Data analysis and dash boarding for SEOConduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Quality validation of the content generated by others
• Publishing content via the Company’s content management system
• Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as necessary to meet our eBusiness objectives & key results, especially around improving the quality of the information displayed on our product pages, such as documents, citations…
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education: BSc or MSc/PhD (along with an MBA would be preferable)
Experience: 5 years of experience in SEO strategy and using Python to automate
Technical Skills / Competencies:
• Proficient in the English language with demonstrated superior writing, copyediting, proofreading, and research skills
• Advanced knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and content marketing strategies are preferred not mandatory.
• Using Python to automate SEO tasks
• Healthy understanding of current research trends and key players within the life science chemicals business
• Basic knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint)
• Experience in Digital marketing, product management, tactical marketing, technical support, R&D, sales, or some combination thereof will be an added advantage
Behavioral Competencies:
• Proactive, collaborative team player, good interpersonal communications skills with ability to demonstrate leadership qualities.
