Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive sports programs suitable for diverse student age groups.
• Instruct students in various sports disciplines, promoting skill development and fitness.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students feel motivated to participate.
• Assess student performance and progress, providing feedback and encouragement.
• Organize inter-school and intra-school sports competitions and events to motivate student participation.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate sports with academic activities whenever possible.
• Maintain sports equipment and ensure all facilities adhere to safety standards.
• Encourage students to develop self-discipline, leadership, and teamwork through sports.
• Lead workshops or seminars for students on health, nutrition, and physical fitness.
• Prepare reports and communicate with parents about student performance in sports.
• Stay updated with current trends and techniques in sports education and training.
• Implement and adhere to the curriculum set by the educational institution.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sports teacher or coach preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and implement sports training programs effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and events efficiently.
• Passion for the development of students’ physical and overall well-being.
• Certification in CPR and first aid would be advantageous for safety.
