Mandatory Requirements
• SQL Data Warehouse Support L2 Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing data support on SQL/SSIS with minimum of 5 years of overall IT experience
• Working with the client team, providing monitoring and level 2 support for data integrations and warehouse on SSIS/SQL/Azure SQL MI/3rd party tools, etc.
• Carry out research, analysis, debugging and troubleshooting for data and job failure issues.
• Support and maintenance of the SQL based systems and various associated components for data ingestion, transformation and processing.
• Support and maintenance of integrations with various (including bespoke) Financial (Applications and Management Information Systems), Underwriting and Claims Management Systems and other systems
• Monitor and support scheduled / ad hoc integration jobs, including period-end processing that may require provide support coverage over the weekends
• Collaborating with 3rd party vendors to assist with issue resolution
• Use and monitor client's ticketing system (Service Now) for incidents and requests, and provide timely support
• Ensure data quality and accuracy by monitoring business and technical reconciliations
• Experience in supporting complex / enterprise data warehouse implemented over standard RDBMS (using SSIS and SQL Server / Azure SQL MI database objects)
• Ability to understand/debug/write complex SQL script
• Experience in supporting Type 2 Dimension Data models and data warehouse
• Experience of analysis and resolution of data quality and integration issues
• Experience of Database queries (SQL) and performance tuning
• Experience in providing and maintaining support documentation, RCAs documentation, etc.
• Experience of working both independently and collaboratively with various teams and global stakeholders (Operations/Support/Business) in an agile approach while working on data issues and support tickets
• Possess deep knowledge of SSIS/SQL/MS SQL Server required for maintaining data warehouse, data integrations, and providing data support.
• Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC), Type 2 Dimension Data Model and Data Warehouse ETL techniques
• Nice to have knowledge of Qlik Compose (3rd Party ETL tool)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team environment
• Demonstrable ability to work on multiple activities simultaneously, and work per defined SLAs
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of data support methodologies, and processes
• Ability to work outside of regular working hours where necessary
• Learn quickly and effectively, when given knowledge transition and access to technical documentation, source code, etc. Microsoft Azure / Azure SQL MI - PaaS fundamental knowledge - preferred
• Experience in providing support to custom ETL tools (e.g. Qlik Compose) – preferred
• Insurance Domain Experience – preferred
• Experience in providing support on SSRS/SSAS Cubes, along with troubleshooting performance and processing issues – preferred
Shift requirements:
• Should support both US ET, US PT and UK timings based on the plan.
• Shift timings:
• 7.30 AM GMT to 4.30 PM GMT
• 8 AM ET to 5 PM ET
• 8 AM PT to 5 PM PT
